How do I apply?

What are the minimum tech requirements for attending a course Live Online??

To participate in our Live Online courses, you must have:

  • A computer with working speakers and microphone — a laptop or desktop computer is fine!

To make the most of your Live Online experience, we also recommend:

  • A working web cam (it doesn’t have to be the greatest quality)!
  • A comfortable desk and chair
  • A positive attitude!

How much time should I expect to dedicate to one of your courses?

Part-Time Courses: All our Part-Time courses require a minimum time commitment of approximately 3 to 9 hours a week.

Accelerated Courses: All our Accelerated courses run from Monday to Friday from 10am-4pm EST.

What kind of career support do you provide to Fintech Alumni?

Are QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online same?

QuickBooks Desktop is a Desktop based software whereas QuickBooks Online is cloud based. Students who want to do cloud based bookkeeping should learn QuickBooks Online, those who are looking for advanced accounting should learn QuickBooks Desktop. Most students they learn both.

Is it mandatory for me to know Accounting and Bookkeeping before learning QuickBooks?

Accounting knowledge is not necessary. You do not need to understand debits, credits or posting, however, you’ll be more productive and have more accurate books if you understand these terms. Most students who want to build their career in Bookkeeping they do our Accounting & Bookkeeping course, by that they have a very good understanding of QuickBooks.

Do you offer any financial aid?

Yes! At Fintech, we believe in making education accessible for everyone.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! We offer various options such as bi-weekly or monthly payments plan for our courses , based on each student’s unique needs. Talk to a member of our Student Success Advisor to find out more about a payment schedule that works for you.

Are there any registration fees, extra costs, or textbook fees?

Tuition includes all books and materials, there are no additional fees.

When is my tuition due?

For our courses, we collect a non-refundable deposit of $100, invoiced upon enrollment and due within 3 days. The remainder is due before the course start date, unless you have opted into a payment plan laid out by our Student Success Advisor.

Are my course(s) transferable?

Unfortunately, once courses have started and attended, they cannot be transferred.

Is my tuition tax deductible?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide tax forms for any of our courses.

What is your refund policy?

Please submit all cancellation requests within 5 calendar days of registration and no later than 2 days prior to the scheduled Course, in order to receive a full refund of paid course fees minus the non-refundable registration fee of $100 plus HST.
