How to use the Search feature more effectively and where it can be helpful

One of my clients recently called me and asked, I want to look for a transaction but I do not have any information except the amount. I said, okay, that should be enough to find out. My client was excited to find out how we can locate transactions with amount.

I introduced them to the powerful feature of QuickBooks Online which is “Find” or “Search”.

Once you open search, QuickBooks Online gives access to “Advanced Search”.

You give a search on any of the above fields and you can also filter by “Transaction type”. Make sure you select the correct field on the left to get your desired result. Also, you have the option of selecting “Transaction type” by using the down arrow in “All Transactions” section.
